The Month Where Your Delayed Miracles Arrive!
As the month of May approached, my husband and I began to hear the word "miracle," and we knew God desired to move powerfully, but we sought to understand what kind of miracle He meant. At first, the phrase "unscheduled miracles" came, then "unusual miracles," echoing what was written in Acts 19:11: "God gave Paul the power to perform unusual miracles" (NLT). At one point, even the phrase "bizarre miracles" surfaced, yet there was a deeper impression that something more specific was being revealed.
While we were in prayer, the Lord asked, "What miracle do you need right now?" and it became clear that many of the miracles we had been contending for were not new—they were long overdue. These were prayers that had once been believed for but had not yet been seen. In that moment, the word dropped clearly: "Delayed miracles arrive."
A miracle, by definition, is a visible act of God's power—beyond human ability and understanding, yet still under His authority as Creator; for "with God all things are possible" (Matthew 19:26). Even creation itself bears His fingerprints, but miracles are the undeniable imprint of His hand, as declared in Exodus 8:19: "This is the finger of God."
From Long Delay to Sudden Release: Miracles Are Never Denied When God Has Spoken
There is a pattern all throughout Scripture that the Lord began to highlight to me. It's this: Miracles can be delayed, they can even be resisted, but they are never denied when God has already spoken. In Daniel 10:12–13, Daniel prayed and Heaven answered, from the very first day, but the manifestation was held up for twenty-one days in the spiritual realm. That means your delay is not silence; it's not absence. Something has already been released, but it is being contented over.
Then the Lord took us into Revelation 10:5–7, where a mighty angel stood and made a legal, cosmic declaration: "There will be no more delay" (v. 6). I felt this so strongly; this was not just a statement, it was a shift. It was a transition from waiting into fulfillment, from process into manifestation. And when you study Scripture, you see this over and over again. God allows a delay, but then He compresses time into one moment of glory.
The woman with the issue of blood suffered for twelve years, but one touch changed everything (Mark 5:24–29). Sarah waited twenty-five years, but then "the Lord did exactly what He had promised" (Genesis 21:1–2). The man at Bethesda waited thirty-eight years. But with one word, he was instantly healed (John 5:5–9). A man was blind from birth, and after one encounter, his life reversed (John 9:1, 6–7). Lazarus was in the grave for four days, then came one command, and death had to let him go (John 11:17, 38–44). Do you see the pattern? Long delay, then sudden release!
Some Delays Are About Alignment
The Lord then showed me something deeper: Not every delay is just warfare; some delays are about alignment. Look at Elijah in 1 Kings 18. He declared rain before there was any sign, then he prayed and sent his servant to check for it once, twice, six times... and nothing. But on the seventh time, a cloud the size of a man's hand appeared, and suddenly the heavens open. What was happening? The miracle had already been spoken, but it required persistence until the moment of release.
Then the Lord took me in the encounter with Jacob in Genesis 32–33, and this is where it shook me. Jacob prayed, "I am unworthy of all the kindness and faithfulness You have shown Your servant... Save me, I pray, from the hand of my brother Esau" (Genesis 32:10–11 NIV). And even though it sounded humble and sounded right, his heart was still resisting the instruction of God. God had already shown him the strategy—to humble himself, and bow before his brother (see Genesis 32:9; 33:3). But Jacob wrestled with that. He wanted protection without repentance, blessing without surrender. And the Lord showed me this clearly: The breakthrough was not denied; it was waiting for alignment. The moment Jacob yielded, humbled himself, and bowed seven times, everything shifted. We see the fulfillment in Genesis 33:3–4: reconciliation, restoration, tears of healing...
This is the word for this season: What has been delayed is not forgotten; it is being aligned. And when your faith meets obedience, when your prayer meets surrender, the delay breaks, and what you have waited for will not trickle in; it will break through suddenly, powerfully, and unmistakably!
God Is Highlighting Families
I feel strongly that this is for families, because the Lord is highlighting Esau. For twenty years there was distance, offense, betrayal, and pain between Jacob and his brother Esau. Esau had every reason to stay angry, every reason to reject him, every reason to repay evil with evil. But when the moment of alignment came—when Jacob humbled himself and approached rightly—something broke in the spirit. The same Esau who once wanted to kill him was the one who ran to meet him, embraced him, threw his arms around his neck, and kissed him (see Genesis 33:4). This was not natural; this was a miracle of reconciliation.
Here is what the Lord is speaking: There are family relationships that have been delayed, strained, and broken for years—even decades—but as hearts align and pride breaks, God Himself will move on the other side. The Esau you feared will not respond the way you expected. God is going before you, softening hearts, healing wounds, and restoring what was lost. This will not be forced, it will be supernatural. What was once filled with tension will be filled with tears of healing, because when God restores, He does it fully, deeply, and in a way that only He can.
Get Ready for a Powerful Encounter of His Grace and the Manifestation of Your Miracle!
The Lord says, "My child, are you ready for a powerful encounter with My grace, with My unmerited favor, that will cover you like a shield, like a glory blanket, wrapped with My warm love and embrace?
"I have seen your pain, your affliction, and your torment, and I have seen the harm done to you. But I have also seen your faith, your trust, and your perseverance, and how you never wavered in loving Me, in trusting Me, even through your darkest night. You have prayed, you have believed, and I have heard. Yes, I have heard your prayers and released your miracle.
"This is a month where you will see the manifestation of your miracle, for I will remove every demonic entity that has tried to block your miracle. I will remove every stronghold which has tried to delay your miracle. Yes, I am breaking off the spirit of delay! Your waiting season is over, for what I am about to do is glorious.
"You are about to have a testimony, and just like Sarah, you will proclaim, 'The Lord kept His word for me and did exactly what He promised me! Oh, it happened at just the right time God said it would!'
"I am going before you, and one delayed miracle will manifest after another. Keep a record, for what I am about to do will overwhelm you. This is a month of divine favor. Favor shall be poured out!
"I have seen the thorns, and how you cried out for Me to remove them, but as I said to Paul, My grace is all you need; My power works best in weakness (see 2 Corinthians 12:7–9).
"This is the month where you will witness My power work through you in ways you have never seen before. This is a month where your eyes will open, and you will see things different; a month where you will take pleasure in insults, hardships, troubles, and persecution, for these will be the vehicle through which I will release delayed miracles. Delayed miracles will arrive, and you will know that through your weakness, My glorious strength will shine. It will be on display for all to see.
"Lift up your hands and receive, for miracles which you have been waiting for a long time will suddenly occur, for I will release a command, saying to you, 'Get up, My child; take your mat and go.' Yes, go! The command has left My mouth, and My words do not return empty.
"Mark My words, and remember My promises, for these miracles will pour out like a flood."
"Remember, I am a covenant-keeping God, and what's more is that I am with you and will protect you, and I will not leave you until I have finished everything I have promised you (Genesis 28:15).
"Step into these promises, for their time is now."
